About us

The purpose of VeganVeins is to provide you with conscious apparel that raises awareness about animal rights everywhere you go. The images on these shirts are powerful, influential, and meaningful. They all have messages that help people understand the terrible reality of what happens to animals in the food, entertainment, and fashion industry. 

All of the items in this store are sweatshop free, and locally printed. Environmental justice is very important to us, and we always aim to be as sustainable as we can whether it be in our everyday actions, or in our business. We opt for the more sustainable option whenever possible. 

We donate 10% of our proceeds each month to various farm sanctuaries around the world and vegan non-profit organizations. Many of the farm sanctuaries we have donated to in the past have been local, here in Canada. Some examples are: Esther the Wonder Pig Farm Sanctuary, Fauna Chimpanzee Sanctuary, Wishing Well Farm Sanctuary, PieBird Farm Sanctuary, Ruby Ranch Sanctuary, Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary, Parrot Island Sanctuary, and many more! In the future, our end goal is opening a farm sanctuary of our own. 

We love being able to support amazing vegan organizations and we love helping people that have the same purpose in life as us: to be a voice for those who can't speak for themselves, and to stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves. We feel we have a moral obligation to do as much good as we can in this world and always help others whenever we can. We are passionate not only about animal rights, but also human rights and the environment as well. 

We are currently based out of Alberta, Canada. We started off with a simple Etsy shop in August 2013. I, Emily, started selling shirts when I was 18 with absolutely no experience or no idea what I was doing - I just had so many ideas of vegan messages that I wanted to put on shirts. Fast forward 9 years and I have sold 13,000 pieces of apparel or accessories such as stickers worldwide. I have three rescue dogs who are by my side every day. I've also been able to donate over $11,000 to sanctuaries around the world!

Wearing vegan apparel is such an amazing form of activism. You don't even have to say a word yet you are still raising awareness, opening peoples eyes, and making them aware about important issues everywhere that you go.
